Principals Instructional Learning Network: Leading Distance Learning with Eric Sheninger
Dear Principals and Assistant Principals,
As you continue to strive to make student learning a priority in your school, I would like to invite you to participate in a Principals’ Instructional Learning Network that will be offered during the 2020-2021 school year. In partnership with the Rhode Island Foundation and Eric Sheninger, we are excited to offer this personalized professional learning opportunity to you at no cost.
Change isn’t coming as it is already on our doorstep. As the world continues to evolve so must educational practice. Digital leadership represents a strategic shift in mindset and actions that work to usher in needed changes to improve teaching, learning, and leadership while building powerful relationships with stakeholders in the process.
The time is now to work smarter, not harder, to achieve better results. Using the Pillars of Digital Leadership, a framework to assist all educators to implement sustainable change, attendees will be exposed to actionable strategies to support and enhance current areas of professional practice through a digital lens. A special emphasis will be placed on the challenges and inherent opportunities that have arisen as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Below are a series of sessions that will help RI leaders effectively lead sustainable change, build capacity, support teachers, and engage parents through these tumultuous times. Each presentation will provide practical strategies that can be implemented immediately.
When you register you are joining a network, and making a commitment to your learning community. These sessions are not a menu to choose from as individual sessions. These are the topics of each session that the network will participate in. Of course we know things come up; however, want to clearly express that these are not individual sessions.
